I'm a 29 year old cartoonist who moved to the Los Angeles area just this year from Oregon. I grew up in a small town and have never been the big city type. I draw comics, I work on cartoons and I also do design work. I do some work for Disney and Cartoon Network. I moved here because these opportunities presented themselves to me.**I admit I am not the most emotional believer. I like to read the great Christian thinkers like G.K. Chesterton, Francis Schaeffer and C.S. Lewis. I am the kind of guy who likes to be very clear on his beliefs so he always has a defense, but is also always willing to learn more.**I admit I have not been very good about reading my Bible these days. I think one of my hang ups with my faith is the way people cling to self-revelation so much. They read the bible and take away what they felt. I don't trust my feelings and applying them to my faith scares me, so I probably come off as cold to some.**I am looking for a girl who wants to live an interesting life with a guy who draws whacky cartoons. I am not into going to huge parties or clubs, I like more intimate settings, and I am just looking for someone to share in the experiences of life with. Someone who knows me for real, but is willing to take me as I am but always encourage me to be a better man. I want someone who can challenge me and holds me to a high standard. I also want someone with an awesome sense of humor who laughs at purely random jokes, because otherwise I will drive you nuts.

We meet go out for coffee or a dessert or something and the conversation carries itself through the night. There is laughter to the point of tears, and there are times where the conversation goes a little deeper than it normally would with a stranger. By the end of the night we feel we have met someone we could be best friends forever with, who we also find attractive and fascinating. |
