Be original. Don’t make generic comments like “you’re cute” or “hi, how are you” without any info about yourself or specific references to her profile.

Use sense of humor. If you possess a sense of humor, use it! Leave sarcastic humor out.

Don’t abbreviate too many words. An abbreviation here and there is OK, but if your entire message looks like a text message composed by a teenage boy, it will most likely not be taken seriously.

Sound positive and upbeat. Avoid being negative in your communication. No one is eager to socialize with a depressed person! If you are going through rough times, don’t mention it right away. There has to be something positive in your life, talk about that instead!

Have your photos! Everyone likes to see with whom they are talking. Women feel more safe when they see the face of a men they are talking to. When they don’t feel safe, they will not reply.
