If you are looking for a good man, then you need look no further. An honest, down-to-earth, sincere Christian man who loves the country and country living accurately describes me. Do you love the beauty and serenity of the wooded rolling hills and meadows as well as the peace and solitude of Gods creation? Or maybe you would love the excitement of hooking big, chunky bluegills or even a huge catfish in the small lake that I built. Or maybe you would enjoy just relaxing on my house deck overlooking the lake and eating delicious bluegill fillets fresh off the grill! If you are not really into fishing, maybe you would enjoy soaking up the sun on the sandy beach or lying on a recliner on the wooden dock with the summer sun reflecting off the water all around you. I enjoy all of this and more and am looking for my soul mate to share it. The bank and I own a beautiful 96-acre dream farm in rural Southeast Ohio. In addition to enjoying the small lake, I also have fertile fields, well-managed woodlands, lots of quality wildlife habitat for outstanding deer and turkey hunting and a tremendous vegetable garden which provides an abundance of vegetables, which I also can and freeze. God has blessed me immensely and provides! God helps those who help themselves, and I have been a very hard worker all my life. Because my life savings and life's labor are invested in my house and farm, I am not willing to relocate. I have also been very blessed to have the means and ability to design and build my "dream house": A custom-built timber-frame home with spacious cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, and an oak staircase. I feel Gods presence while being surrounded by the beautiful wood that He created. I pray often that God would provide the right country girl to share the rest of my life. I have lots of room and love children, so children are not a problem. I have two sons ages 13 and 15, whom I love dearly. I enjoy spending time with them, although that time is very limited (every other weekend with extra time during their school breaks). I am an active member of a local Church of Christ congregation. Rarely do I miss a Sunday and I pray daily. By the grace of God, I was able to take advantage of an early-retirement incentive program and retired at the age of 50 from an outdoor career in wildlife management. I consider myself semi-retired and self-employed in various capacities on my farm. Although I work very hard, I have much flexibility and freedom and really enjoy being my own boss. But most of all, I enjoy working outside, on my own place, surrounded every day by Gods creation. My hobbies include fishing, deer and turkey hunting, gardening, and planting wildlife food plots. I enjoy long hikes with my Labrador Retriever, Char, as well as training and playing with her. I am a non-smoker and very health conscious. I eat healthy home-cooked meals and exercise regularly at a fitness club. During my recent routine physical, my doctor told me I have the body of a much younger man.
